Refund, Cancellation, Wallet & Payment Policy

This policy governs payments, refunds, cancellations, wallet credits, and settlements on the TAKTIKX Platform, operated by TAKTIKX SPORTS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED.

1. Nature of Wallet

  • The in-app wallet on TAKTIKX is a closed-system virtual wallet used only for transactions within the Platform. The wallet is not a bank account, prepaid instrument, or stored-value wallet under RBI regulations.

  • Wallet balances:

  1.  Are non-transferable

  2.  Do not earn interest

  3. Cannot be used outside the TAKTIKX Platform

  • All payments are processed via RBI-authorized payment gateways.

2. Payment Processing & Settlement

  • Users make payments through third-party payment gateways integrated with the Platform.

  • Funds collected are first settled with the payment gateway and then credited to the Platform as per applicable settlement cycles.

  • Amounts shall be credited to the User’s wallet only after successful completion of the booked activity or game session.

  • Before wallet credit, the Company shall deduct: Platform commission (20%) or other charges like- Applicable service fees, Government taxes, Payment gateway charges (where applicable)

        📌 Example:

If a User (Professionals/Organisers/any other users) have ₹1,000 in wallet and no activity           performed:

Service fees, Taxes & gateway charges (if applicable): ₹50

Eligible Refund amount: ₹950

        📌 Example:

If a User (Professionals/Organisers/any other users) have performed activity of ₹1,000:

Platform commission (20%): ₹200

Service fees, Taxes & gateway charges (if applicable): ₹50

Eligible Refund amount: ₹750

3. Refund Eligibility & Deductions

  • Refunds shall be processed only where applicable and as per the terms of the specific activity or service.

  • Any eligible refund shall be issued after deducting: 20% platform commission, Applicable government taxes, Payment gateway charges, Service fees, Any other statutory or regulatory charges

  • Refunds are calculated on the gross transaction amount paid by the User.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

  • The Company shall make reasonable efforts to initiate eligible refunds within 15 working days from receipt of a valid request through the Platform.

  • Actual credit timelines depend on: Payment gateway processing, Bank or UPI systems, Original payment method

  • The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party payment gateways or banking systems.

5. Booking Acceptance & Penalties

  • Booking requests must be accepted within 60 minutes of notification.

  • Failure to accept within the stipulated time may result in: Automatic cancellation, and/or

         Applicable penalties as determined by the Platform.

  • Penalties shall be auto-debited from wallet of users

6. User-Initiated Cancellations

  • If a confirmed activity or game is cancelled by the User a cancellation fee or penalty may apply.

  • Refunds, if applicable, shall be processed after deductions outlined in this policy.

  • No refunds shall be issued for: No-shows, Late cancellations beyond permitted timelines.

7. Third-Party Payment Gateways

  • All payments and refunds are processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways

  • TAKTIKX does not store card details, UPI PINs, or banking credentials.

  • Refunds are routed to the original payment method or wallet, as applicable.

8. Disputes, Fraud & Payment Withholding

  • The Company reserves the right to: Temporarily withhold wallet credits or payments, Conduct verification or investigation in cases of: Disputes, Suspected fraud, Policy violations, Regulatory non-compliance

  •  Payments shall be released only after satisfactory resolution.

9. Promotions, Bonuses & Incentives

  • Promotional offers, cashback, bonuses, or incentives are: Discretionary, Non-transferable Subject to modification or withdrawal without notice

  • Such benefits are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

10. Bank & Transaction Charges

  • Users shall be solely responsible for: Bank charges, UPI or transaction fees, Charges incurred during wallet-to-bank transfers (if enabled)

11. Final Authority

The Company’s decision regarding: Refund eligibility, Deduction calculations, Dispute resolution shall be final and binding, subject to applicable laws and RBI guidelines.
